Welcome to Elliot AI. By installing the Elliot Chrome extension, creating an account, or using any part of the Elliot platform — including the web application — you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Elliot is a personal AI memory layer. When you are signed into an AI tool that Elliot supports — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Poe, and Mistral — Elliot captures the conversations you have with those tools, organizes them into categories, summarizes them into bullet points, and stores them in your personal account.
Elliot also provides a chat interface where you can ask questions and receive answers informed by your saved memory history. Elliot uses Anthropic's AI API to classify, summarize, and respond to your saved data.
You must create an account to use Elliot. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Elliot. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. Elliot AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You own your memories. The conversations, categories, and summaries stored in your Elliot account belong to you. Elliot AI does not claim ownership over your captured data. You may delete your data at any time using the Clear All function within the app.
You agree to use Elliot only for lawful purposes. You may not use Elliot to capture, store, or process content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the terms of the AI platforms you are using. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the Elliot platform.
Elliot integrates with third party AI platforms for capture purposes and uses Anthropic's API for AI processing. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service. Elliot AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third party AI platforms.
Elliot AI is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service running reliably but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will notify users of significant changes when possible.
Elliot AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. The accuracy of AI-generated summaries and responses is not guaranteed. You should not rely on Elliot for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Elliot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
